The trick is to be grateful for the life you’re living today. When you are filled with gratitude for what you have and the people you’ve in your life that love you, it helps you respect and reciprocate equally. Just because someone you know has a bigger house or car or millions of dollars in their banks don’t validate you crying over why you don’t have the same. We don’t always get what we want in life, but we can try and work hard for it. Sometimes we win, and sometimes we fail. However, in the process, we must never let the feeling of gratitude slide from our hearts. Be honest, kind, and grateful in life, and you’ll find the inner peace you’re looking for. Keep your face to the sunshine, and you cannot see the shadow.
